Knitting socks - It's a knee sock!
It's finished. It is the first knee sock that I've had that comes up my leg. Next time I will make it about 2 inches longer as it doesn't quite reach my knee, but I'm still very happy with it. I need to get some 16 inch circular needles.

I am *so* with you on the knee sock problem... commercial socks fall down to the ankles in a mess on me. I've adapted by coming to prefer short socks! I really admire your tackling the leg shaping for proper knee socks.
